Steve Reichwein – Associate Principal

The experienced and expert engineering staff at Severud Associates is our most important asset. Therefore, we are proud to announce that Stephen Reichwein has been promoted to Associate Principal. Steve has demonstrated a deep commitment to his profession and the firm.

Steve Reichwein joined Severud Associates in 2009 as an engineer after interning with the firm the summer before. He quickly advanced through the ranks before his promotion to associate principal. Steve’s background in architectural engineering along with his design experience has enabled him to engineer his clients’ visions effectively, regardless of their complexity. Steve is a leader of the firm’s parametric and algorithmic design team, a group whose analyses inform critical engineering decisions for major projects, such as the immersive entertainment venue Sphere, in Las Vegas, Nevada. His other significant projects include TSX Broadway and Palace Theater redevelopment and the Marymount School expansion, both in Manhattan.

This talented engineer, along with his colleagues, will keep Severud Associates at the forefront of the structural engineering profession, using best practices for safety, innovation, and economy in their designs and providing engaged service to clients.
